Bottle Caps
This artwork is a functional lamp that begins with a found hubcap. The bottle caps are flattened with pliers and a hammer. I've fastened barrel clasps toeach cap in order to string them together. I found a metal container of barrel clasps at the Recycle Circus, a free one day recycling event in Marin County. At the bottom of each strand is a old key, bell or other little object.
