This figure is made around a screwdriver on a wooden base. The materials include an old jello mold, beads, metal labels, buttons, a wire spring, ribbon, fabric, wire and a paper doll head.

My grandchild used to play for hours with my beads, wires and any assortment of materials I might have in one of my many boxes. This skirt was one of the pieces he played with. Do you see the little piece of black tape on the wire cage? It made me happy to leave it there as his contribution. The piece is assembled on a screwdriver mounted on a wooden block. The materials used are the wire cage, beads, fabric, plumbing and electrical parts, fabric wire, threads, ribbon, a framing wire, buttons and a paper doll head.

This sweet figure is created from a screw driver with found objects, a square nail, ephemera and paper doll head. The wooden spools have been in my collections for many years. It sometime surprises me when these kinds of objects final find their homes. The Crow is an original design that I use in my line of handmade cards.

I've titled this piece Who Needs Arms When You Have Wings To Fly. This piece is sculpted on a screwdriver mounted on a block of wood. Materials include birch bark, seed pods, tacks, golden threads, ribbon, tulle, paper, and rubber stamp face on paper. The wings are Dresden paper, with birch bark I gather from my neighborhood.

This quirky figure was very fun to make. I was able to recycle a saw mill in McCloud, CA. I gathered an incredible assortment of materials. I used many of the items in this sculpture. Again the base is wood with a screwdriver as the structure form to apply the materials to. I've used scraps of materials, ribbons, handmade rosettes, feathers, wire, a velvet leaf and a paper doll head.
